their deflection always makes me think about somebody dumping a bunch of fertile mice and rats into your home. do you:
a) run after that person and try and get revenge on him for doing it, while ignoring the rats and letting them breed even more in your home while you aren't there to protect it
b) exterminate all the rats, then deal with the person after, knowing rats are limited and you've protected your home first and foremost
