Spain did NOT expelled ANY Jews... Spain CONSENSUALLY deported them. Jews could have stayed as first class citizens IF they converted to Christianity, and many did, or leave taking their property (it was a crime punished by execution to steal from or harm jews during this CONSENSUAL deportation).
