The latest Russian combat reconnaissance drone, Altair, crashed into a residential building during a test flight in Kazan.

Altair (also known as Altius-U) is Russia’s most advanced long-endurance drone, designed for both surveillance and strike missions. It is considered the Russian counterpart to the American MQ-9 Reaper.

Specifications: 6 tons in weight, wingspan of 28 meters (making it larger than the Reaper).
Flight range: up to 10,000 km, with over 24 hours of airtime.
