why are you making this into political groups? people who want to goon and those who dont. its as simple as that. im not talking about political groups. i even said the people who are pushing for removal of sexualization want to do economic harm, and/or grab power. that doesnt have to be for a political group, even more so if they were never aligned with any party to begin with.

unironically the reverse, as the shift away from extreme feminism started with social media push back, due to studies showing people would disagree with news articles int he comments section, and convince others in the comments section to the opposite opinion of the article. so in unison, every single news website removes comment sections in a single week, so everyone shifted the discussion to social media, where all social media outlets had to work in unison to ban such talks. this wasnt directly 2010, and started before, and ended after, but the general time frame is somewhat close.

i see it in my job daily. every company is out to ruin their competition, both legally and if its easy to do w/o getting caught, also illegally. (Though reliance on loopholes in the law, but underhanded, are usually the preferred method) This is how the world has worked for all of human history, and somehow ppl think it suddenly stopped happening now that ppl question if it happens today, despite ppl getting caught all the time.
obviously this is getting too off the rails, and we're going to agree to disagree at best. but as a side note, i do agree that Christianity started to get a bit too extreme, and was a root cause of many early problems before the 90s, which shaped new problems later.
as for sexual content in games, i like something in the middle. allow it, but obviously dont make everything always about sex, sometimes a game just isnt about sex.
