it's basically been radio silence since then and i have no idea whether she's still active as a trainer or plans to compete in any shows again. on chinese social media she has been getting dragged for months. apparently the guy and his lawyers showed surveilance footage and chat records that showed he was totally innocent and that actually she staged the entire episode to grab headlines and try and squeeze money out of it or for revenge because he criticized her training philosophy.

DESU i'm just disappointed because her doing a Chun-Li photoset or some awesome longer-form cosplay videos would've been absolutely sufficient to launch her into worldwide virality. *sighs* she could've been mentioned in the same breath as Olivia Bian or Jessica Shen but no -- she wanted to play this game instead.
