But Eve is still alive and has a new ass kicking Angel form, why switch the protagonist? I'd imagine in the sequel Eve goes after Mother Sphere, kill her and her cohorts then Eve gets becomes the new Mother Sphere and actually brings salvation to the planet by getting impregnated and starting the next "human" race as Adam suggested.
