Get something in line with a specific color from pic rel (presumably from the middle) and use something to diffuse the light (if it doesn't already have a diffuser on it) so that it feels more ambient instead of from a specific source. Additionally, if you use a variety of lights at different color temperatures, then you could simulate other times of day for yourself like scientists do in antarctica.
