So my setting has Christianity as truth, with an added caveat that gateways tend to open up between worlds which caused the pollination of worlds across the universe with life from Earth. Some creatures even escaped the great flood this way.
>Deuteronomy 32:8-9
>When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
>For the Lord's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
This refers to the scattering of people after the tower of Babel, and "children of Isreal" is a revision. The original term was "sons of God", as in angels. It seems to me that God raised up Isreal as his chosen while leaving the other peoples to angels and demons in some fashion, until it was time for Jesus to bring everyone into the fold.
I was thinking of this being a way to "justify" the other deities on other worlds not necessarily being evil. Maybe some are merely following their function and trying to guide their people into a readiness to accept the Lord. I even had a similar idea with dogmen being cursed canaanites who had the Aralez appointed as their guardians to guide them back from sin.
Thoughts, criticism? I'm very open to reworking this entirely if need be.
