I mean if you work in medical field it's like that yeah. The first time I saw a human opened up it was one of the most grotesque sights I'd ever seen, I couldn't sleep that night. When we're covered by our nice skin and clothes you tend to think thats a human. All nice, neat, together. Then you see someone opened up and it's like holy fucking shit. Is that really a human?

Then you witness you first opened up humans and you quickly realize that chicken you grandmother slaughters and dissembles, that pig slaughter you went to as a kid, we're the same thing. Especially with pigs it's almost uncanny how similar everything is the organs are the same just a bit bigger, the teeth are the same. Since I'm from the Balkans I went to pig slaughters as teen. Since I'm from a Doctors family I had a digital camera back then in 2001 was it?

Now that I'm the medical profession I have become 100% completely desensitized to this.
But back then there was so many revelations that came to my mind.
This is why Muslims and Jews ban eating pork, it's too similar to us.
This is why nobody touched human anatomy in forever it was too grotesque and uncanny.

But then I questioned everything considering in pregunpowder warfare people literally dissected each other with big knives how did nobody figure anything out? It seem so fucking obvious what part does what, how it's all connected, that bones are muscles are basically just wood and ropes, everything a lever. It's clear the brain is the source of out "self", it's obvious the heart pumps blood, it's obvious blood carries nutrient around. And so on...

This is just a question of exposure.
