I'll give you my honest opinion. it's people including me who have played SL for so long, invested so much time and money and having acquaintances on it that you can't really leave it behind. Not really an uncommon thing for most mmorpg's. I've actually met some mega oldfags in an ancient mmorpg from the 90's who are probably still playing their game today. The only thing that would make me leave SL forever is if LL banned all my accounts for some dumb reason, but I've heard of real addicts who would actually try to circumvent the ban and recreate their account and start over even if that happened. Its absolute craziness.
