You're used to the foreign ceiling by now. It's not quite home, but you're comfortable. Over the past few days, you've managed to make the room your own. All the junk has been unceremoniously tossed out into the scrap pile that they use for Squid's supplies. Without an auto-reset, you've had to engage in the laborious process of cleaning your own room. It's something few humans have to endure nowadays, to your chagrin.

"Trouble sleeping?

"Yeah."

Phascomon pops out of your Digivice. He clambers up onto your sheets and raises his claws, motioning to his own bleary eyes. You give him a quick nod. You need all the rest you can get.

"Evil Snore!"

"Gnight..." You mumble, as his attack sends waves of bleariness through you.

"Night night, Marnie."

He settles down by the base of the covers, rather than returning to his Digivice. You don't notice till morning.

Wind has you all assemble at the teleporter after breakfast. You're barely able to get any food down, so you just eat a nutrient brick while waiting for everyone to get here. Liza is early, and Bella is one of the later stragglers. The latter looks disheveled, like she's forgotten to even reset her avatar. Wind stands with Kunemon guy, while the boys with Otamamon and Gizamon pair up.

"This mission isn't going to make as big a splash as the last one, but it's just as important. Remember what's at stake here: Our continued growth, our ability to strengthen our current force, and our ability to nourish new recruits. And once again, I want one thing to be clear. We're not stopping for anybody. We were lucky to have zero losses last time. They'll be ready for us now. None of us are going to jeopardize the mission, got it?"

Mumbles of assent pass through the crowd. Phascomon says something else, but it's inaudible even to you.

"Fifteen minutes to grab whatever else you need, then we move on."

Most of them stay right there. You see a couple run off, including Liza. Just like last time, you have a brief window where you can do something fast. You have your usual suite of tools, you have your .apps, and you have the hidden lifel1ne. Maybe you have time to go to Squid and ask for an extra-large package of a specific .app, if you want to make sure you don't run out. Or maybe text Doc for any last minute wisdom. Or get to know what Gazimon and Elecmon can do (Once Liza runs back here). Anything, really, that can be done in a reasonable span of time.
