There's little real FOMO except an upcoming collab since like the other anon said, you can buy the battlepass "cheaply" and then pick almost any SSR you want every three or so weeks using a currency the battlepass gives for doing dailies and a weekly dungeon. Seasonal characters skip the following season and then can be grabbed again
There's a support system where you can also borrow single characters from other players to help carry some fights, so post your ID here and shamelessly ask for friends to get free help. There's a limited time Walpurgis event that just started as well with characters you can't use the battlepass crate currency on for another three months if you want targets to reroll for.
