Meanwhile, Demon Slayer is stuck in Japan doing its 50th recycled recap arc and praying Ufotable doesn't go bankrupt from tax fraud (I also hear they treat their animators pretty shit like refusing to give a female maternity leave).
Being popular in anime circles is cute. But Hollywood adaptation is the final stage of relevance. That's how the West and East know your brand has legs.
