I speak from experience, I've done it all. Linux is needlessly complicated, and your claims about what you think doing things on Windows is, is what doing things on Linux actually is.

Oh, and add on the fact that by default (that is to say, without tinkering or installing random shit), you can't right click open from the file picker. Plus, thumbnails don't generate in the file picker window, you have to go and fucking open the folder in the file browser then re-open the file picker to get thumbnails to show.
