I think she was genuinely autistic. That's why she couldn't physically digest the fact that theoretical "altruistic" morality is tempered by pragmatic self interest in life. Like it's commendable to help everyone but there are limits and you're not a villain if you put yourself first, but to her this was an ideological contradiction that must inevitably lead to mental collapse. Her "rational self interest" selfishness isn't that terrible of a system but it's already how most people live, they just put up various excuses as to why it's "a good thing" that they do, and her attempt to form a philosophical underpinning to this system of selfishness was utter shitslop, halfbaked elementary school level reasoning. She was too autismal to fit in and too attention starved to simply live on her own and pull in her own direction, and like most of the worst histrionic w*men, she was obsessed with rationality but was irrational and overemotional, so therefore her actions were always the rational ones.
