If you were to list out all the benefits that Sanguophages get in a vacuum, without telling somebody "they're basically scifi vampires", they would sound stupidly overpowered and like borderline wish fulfillment mary sues (especially the "What do you mean they can make more of them by turning regular pawns into them???? for free????"), and would likely be criticized as overpowered compared to "official" races and even most mods......But the moment you say "they're vampires" suddenly all the benefits make sense in context and the reaction is "Oh, of course they can do X/Y/Z if they're vampires"

They are an accurate representation of how much it would fucking rule to be a space vampire and the Sanguophage starting scenario is IMO way easier than crash landed because you start with one
