Started the ivalice raids before reset and skipped most of the cutscenes because my friends told me the story is nonsensical unless you're a diehard FFT fan, are they pulling a leg on me? I kinda followed along (mostly because server was set to die in 1hr lol) but now I'm curious if the story makes sense as a standalone thing or is it actually just "go play fft!"
