As much as Kimetsu's massive success puzzles me, at least I can see why people like the series. It's easy to see why some of its elements resonate with people, even if they are not entirely to my liking. But Sakamoto Days, I just don't get at all. The art is great, the action is fantastic, but outside of that, it is completely dry as a series. Such a boring, uninteresting story, with a collection of shallow characters that have all the characterization of cardboard cutouts. Shit on UU all you want, at least that series had personality.
