So it flopped, as totally expected. Nobody liked DS1, nobody wanted a sequel, yet la creatividad still went with it because he thought he would make everyone feel ashamed of their words and deeds. Just to be clear: It's completely garbage except for nice views, because japanese devs care about optimization. Otherwise shit story, shit mechanics. This place is in full denial. Somehow, this is the only opinion both reddit and /v/ share: it's actually a masterpiece and we "le adhd zoomers" don't understand it. If you are getting paid to defend this crap, I respect that, someone needs to make a living. But if you are doing this for free, you are deluded or just being contrarian.
