The "cost of labour" doesn't influence the price. It doesn't matter how much the labour and means of productions cost to dig a hole in the desert, if nobody wants it the market price of that hole is 0
Since it's 0, the labour won't be paid for, making the value of hard labour 0
As such, the price of labour is determined by the market price of the produced good, not the other way around, this applies to all the production chain including the price of the machinery, which worth is 0 unless they can produce something with market value in the consumer market.
Start with Menger, and go from there. Maybe you will stop embarrassing yourself like this against "memers" like me.
