It’s time to admit Forge was a terrible idea implemented in a terrible way. No one wanted a faction of old units arbitrarily cut/pasted into robot bodies. The tone was retardedly off, and the excuse that the the lore is already scifi is stupid because none of that had been remotely reflected in the game’s aesthetic or tone prior to that. It was a glorified in joke that the devs took too seriously, then got pissy when it was shelved since no one else was really “in” on it.
