Nah, the dude was literally seething at holo at every turn, he thought hololive was literally over when he nabbed miguel rumao. There's a lot of instances of it, too many to count, guy was trying to copy the smols (literally told the artist to redo their original art to make it look like walfie's), the TALENT FREEDOM ads were, as expected, a targeted campaign against hololive, etc. There's been so much stuff that's come out about it. Anyways, numbers related, picrel are their financials for last year and two "projections" for this year rumao.
No clue why nimi did it, there's rrats from Shibuya Kaho that a manager that left a major VTuber company for vshitshow was, according to a friend of hers, apparently doxxing talents and talking about their marital status, and one of vshitshows most prominently advertised staff members (hololive being rent free in their head and all) was ex-holoEN which made people speculate about it, but it's all hearsay and nothing concrete. Nobody has a fucking clue why she did it, but >we've now got to deal with the consequences of it ITT.

MORE Vshojo news
uvdotsh, the founder of Fyra Labs (the developers of TauOS, Ultramarine Linux, and a number of other projects I cannot begin to properly do service to describing), appears to have acquired the pitch deck that VShojo was presenting to potential investors. Presumably this was acquired while Gunrun was trying to sell/get more investors for VShojo this past week, but uvdotsh is intentionally vague about their source of the information.

The pitch deck includes various information, some of which is comically incorrect. Details summarized as follows, but you can read the full pitch deck here: https://x.com/uwunetes/status/1948963642419851731
>The slides include IRL photos of NOVA talents, which are censored in the tweets.
>10 Managers
>About 20-30 employees total
>Took a loss of roughly $2.5m in 2024's Fiscal Year.
>Claims to be "#1 Outside of Japan"
>Claims that with their most aggressive strategy coming to fruition, they would still not be profitable until at least Q4 2025, if not later. That strategy? Debut more talents, take a bigger pay cut, and license out the IPs of their existing talents.
>Claims that the Director of Japan Talent, Alex Pelz, was "Responsible for the success of Hololive EN Gen 1". Follow-up from NekomiKuri (an editor at Hololive) indicates that Pelz was not only unaware of this pitch, but would not describe himself this way. Readers pointing at the screen shouting "OMEGA" should be advised that this ain't him, chief.
>Further follow-up from NekomiKuri indicates that multiple VShojo staff (that they do not name for personal reasons) indicate they were not aware of this pitch deck, and have found their roles to be mischaracterized. NekomiKuri also states that many of the staff members were actually trying to do right by the talents, but were frequently stonewalled by upper management and various other limiting factors like pay cuts.
Picrel is the financial projections as of October 2024 (note that this projection is from one month before NOVA debuted).

>Vshojo total yearly revenue earnings in 2024 was less than what NijiEN makes in one quarter
>Just one event (AR live) made nearly half of their total revenue
Well, that explains a lot.

>we’re going to go from 0 IP licensing revenue to 2.3 million
>how? Don’t worry about it
