this is part of why I still like sprite based games. Yeah it's super cool how impressive graphics have gotten but I'm starting to get really annoyed having to watch every character "ACT OUT" every goddamn motion and sentence. It's especially frustrating when you read the subtitles faster than they can get their words out.
