Good thing the audience for television is going extinct. Why do you think there was such a huge push for the government to control the internet and what we have access to? It's not about safety for children, it's about control of information.
When the only information avenue for media was television and papers it was very easily to manipulate what people were exposed to, but the internet changed that entirely and ever since they've tried to think of ways to gain control.
