Reminds me of the story of the airline employee that got sucked into an engine a year or so back. Their utter incuriosity about and indifference to the world around them is staggering. They don't pay attention to what they consider to be white man shit. It's common sense that MRIs and metal go together about as well as bleach and ammonia - you know that because you've paid attention in life, just as you know without having to be specifically told that it's not a good idea to wander in front of a running jet engine.
And that self-caricature behavior - buff negro wearing something zoos give to apes to play with - set the table for the perfect and, I have to say, hilarious to visualize storm.
