You are not supposed to do all of this just for the sake of it. What you mentioned here is the survival stuff, which is pretty much required for everyone unless you have a successful business or you gamble. It's not "bad", it's just different from what humans in the past have, instead of hunting your own food you do stuff to some dicks and those dicks give you money. You find your meaning outside all of this.
