anyway...

so how bad is the combination of modern video games and smartphone-based social media really for kids growing up in their formative years? many anons seem to have turned out relatively normal since they can earn/leech enough money to afford consoles/pc as well as games despite inflation. but tbdesu, it's just really convenient to hand a child a tablet, when you have multiple kids and a dog and you need them to stop wrecking the house for twenty minutes. everyone knows it's bad, but i get why they do it.

so how bad was social media for the internet? how do we as a society and planet address this?
