My plan was that Batman still happened at first, but then when the OG Red Hood went tumbling into that vat of acid, Batman did as well. It didn't fuck up his mind the way it did Joker (he hadn't had quite as bad a day), but it did make it impossible for him to be Bruce Wayne anymore, so he became Batman full-time...and ended up dropping his "no kill" rule. Joker himself may or may not be alive.

Basically, I have a thing where I associate all of Batman's villains with a particular kind of insanity or disorder. Phobias for Scarecrow, pyromania for Firefly, kleptomania for Catwoman, obsessive-compulsive disorder for Riddler, etc..

In Selina's case, I was thinking that her rogues gallery would instead each represent a particular crime. Batman is vigilantism, Anarky is insurrection, Mr. Freeze is industrial sabotage, etc..

Digging through some of my older files I actually just found a full Wikipedia-style writeup of this Catwoman's comic history that I made. Behold a weaponized autism the likes of which I can rarely work up the effort to replicate these days.
