Being vilified for being a civilized man in today's society by women of toxic femininity is a recipe for disaster. Imagine chastising a man for choosing NOT to force himself on a woman or committing violence towards them, maybe getting a few of his buddies and doing the same. These men already have nothing to lose- if you back them to a corner and tell them they are a piece of shit for being civilized, it may just erupt forcefully back to them. It will be ugly indeed. The 1970s were not too far from today- we can go back to roving violent gangs of irate and bored men if that's what these women crave so much. That's why they're trying to play it down today.
