Ok, having had time to let myself absorb the news, which is obviously overall great, there's still only 2 flags about this announcement:
>1. What is the reserve ACTUALLY used for? They say it's to help the network, but they don't actually say *how*.
Them not mentioning this at all raises a red flag IMO.
>2. How much of the off-chain revenue actually gets converted to LINK, and at what rate is it added to the reserve?
Sergey said they add to the reserve once a week, but how long are the funds themselves sitting waiting before they get converted? Are they going to convert it to LINK the same week they receive it? I doubt it. Further, would they convert all at once, or just a bit on one week, and then some more the next week? The lack of explication on this matter makes it seem like it's kind of "truth > trust" theatre. It definitely SEEMS like it's trustful, because the PAL and the reserve are onchain, but we have no idea about anything BEFORE that point. Of course, if you just care about seeing how much LINK gets bought and literally nothing else then it doesn't matter, but I think this is actually important.
