You wake up early the next morning, feeling refreshed after a good night of filling up your kitsune to the brim. Ayane peacefully slept with a smile on her face, clearly happy with her reward.

"Good morning, Master!" Herta greets you from the floor. There wasn't anything stopping her from sleeping with you in your bed, but Herta insisted on being treated like an animal after you had your fill with your kitsune.

"Morning, Herta." You said to her while rubbing off sleep from your eyes.

"It's time for my breakfast, Master." She beamed a smile your way.

"Sure, give me a minute to get up..."

After giving Herta some of your 'protein', you get ready for the day.

Gerty, Cattleya, and Bertha were given the task of organizing everything and keeping in touch with the Adventurer's Guild and the Centrian Knights. You wondered when the latter's package of materials and rare items was going to come by. And if you had the chance of becoming an honorary member of the Order. Maybe it could make things simpler if you were associated with them, while also opening up some more avenues for influence. It was something Gerty seemed to be in favor of, at least, as she informed you of how she used to fight for one of these Orders with a smile. You hoped that Gerty at least would be able to figure something out when it came to the materials, but you imagined you'd need the help of both Ayane and Ruby if you wanted to actually look into it.

The your remaining wives—and Yumi—accompanied you as you returned to where Aneko's wake was held.

You are once again greeted by some kitsunes. Most were workers and receptionists, but a large minority of them were priestesses. They didn't seem happy when seeing you, but they were respectful enough to at least ask why you were here again.

Thankfully, Ayane, due to her merchant and diplomatic skills, along with the fact she was also a kitsune, convinced them to let you all look around the place under the pretext of giving your respects and being interested in their decorations. It wasn't entirely a lie, considering what you were here for.

And so you gather around in the room where the wake happened. There are no flowers left, and in fact there was scarcely any evidence proving that anything happened yesterday.

"So, we're looking for ghosts?" Mel asked again.

"Any sort of lead, I imagine." Ruby responded, then glanced at you with a smile. "Right, Master?"
