Does that mean Namekians get the forms from DBO?
>but rather as a proper "setting" where things can play out differently based on player choices.
Yeah that's a thing that I don't care much for, if you're going to make changes, cause weird domino effects. It doesn't even have to go so far it changes the setting completely, just enough that it feels organic for characters to act in different ways in specific situations.
>He might even just let Vegeta and Nappa go Oozaru before doing that, just so it isn't overkill.
Kek, that would be even funnier...
>our Videl's strongest attacks are the good ol' Falcon Punch and Falcon Kick.
Does she have Budokai 3's Hawk Arrow or Eagle Kick? They're not much but those were her moves the games made up.
>It's not so much that 3 itself is Speed-based, rather it's technique stacking mixing in the power of 3
Oh I understood that, it's just that this, Raioken stacked with SS3 specifically is what reminded me of Toyotaro's "SS3 is a speed type form".

Interesting, I thought this would be a forum when I saw the link, but it's actually /tg/.

Kek, this aged well.
Reading the first chapter itself, the narration and dialogue are cringe here and there, having that self aware humor we've been cursed with by Joss Whedon. Kato also references social links a few times, and combined with the dialogue style, I can assume she was a teenager back then, which would explain the dialogue. Hopefully it gets toned down over time, worlds develop better when the weirdness is part of it (Unless something is weird even by those standards but that's part of the joke).
Still, as far as an introduction goes, it gives a little taste of what's to come with tuffles being sent to Earth to kill Goku, which's a decent enough hook, but first, exploring early DB.
