I have a lot of friends who joined during that era and still have insane fandom drama stories! I couldn't believe it! DR wasn't even on my mind in 2018 I was into enstars and hypmic(while it was just a audio drama series!!!!). Hs still lingers even now in Undertale etc it's quite strange. I'd argue touhou, and JJBA are behind most old internet memes, while 2010s has homestuckand touhou to blame, atleast on the western side
