I started on A1111, updated to Forge and then to ComfyUI later because it's a bit more modular and you can build your own workflows for specific purposes. I'm still learning, but it's quite flexible once you get the hang of it.

There's tons of highly detailed tutorials on youtube explaining how to install each and build various workflows for whatever, but starting simple isn't necessarily a bad idea.
