I haven't played the game yet but I hope the premise of the story is that the characters were sex bots given sentience for their masters' pleasures, then were repurposed to be murder bots when shit hit the fan, and the player character is the only one who doesn't write them off as sexual objects, and the supposed miseryporn is them learning from the player character to be human while dealing with the dangers of the post-apocalyptic world.
