Okay, so back to OP topic then. What are some books written by a male author that has men interacting with women from male pov that Doesn't have an inherently lustful gaze, because I agree that painting every man with the same brush is unfair, but at a certain point I can't help but wonder if I am giving the benefit of the doubt here. Again, OP is specifically asked for recs that provide the contrary. Is there a novel that resonates with your experience or relationship ideals, as a man, that provides a different perspective or does it just need to be (depressingly) accepted that the lens men filter women through is nigh universally: is woman fuckable?
