Best you can hope for is becoming tribute states like the Gulf states that invest hundreds of billions of dollars into US entertainment companies and projects (Stargate AI, WWE, UFC, F1, Golf) if your useful financially you won't be targeted. The Saudi's are also going to recognize Israel like the UAE once this situation cools down towards the end of Trumps term.
And based on the history it's the right move, better to live a pampered life on your knees then to lose horribly like Saddam, Gaddafi and Assad.
An Israeli led Middle East focused on development and with wall-street and Gulf money to fall back on would be able to compete with South East Asia in the long term. How much money did all these failed states waste resisting the inevitable by building rockets, chemical weapons, missiles, buying soviet crap and attempting to go nuclear? I'd estimate at least 700 billion dollars since the 1970's.
