Marvel Rivals is basically a direct copy of when Overwatch was fun back when it launched which is why it did so well. I know on 4chan and it's cool to hate on everything but the game did very well.

People claim it has a bunch of coomer skins but they actually just used designs the old school comics. You could say the original artists were coomers but back then it wasn't taboo for men to enjoy looking at sexy women so they drew what they liked and what fans wanted.

Gameplay wise Concord wasn't awful but visual appeal matters. If your food looked like vomit it would turn off a lot of people no matter the taste.
