A sad reality I had to face in the 2000s is that anime is mostly watched by losers in the west.
For every BASED Mecha anime, there are a dozen lame Slice of Life shows (or Friend simulators as I call them).

I love great anime more than most western KINO. But eastern slop is just as bad as mainstream American entertainment.
