Times change. Corpos only take risks and invest in interesting things when they have to do so in order to remain competitive; if they can make easy, consistent profit, they will always do so. As time goes on, they (unfortunately) get better at maintaining profit with declining quality. The entertainment industry is hardly unique in this respect.

You must be very young if you actually believe this. This isn't the first time Western animation has been terrible and it will not be the last, nor is it the first time politics have meddled in the entertainment industry.
If DEI was the sole reason Western animation sucks, non-DEI Western animation would be better. It isn't.
