Semi-inspired by real events, I wanna write something shorter this time around
>Diing-doong...
>The toons are greeted to yet another rainbow room. They're only on floor 6 but this run already feels like it's been going on for too long
>Everyone wanted to just go back up and see their friends and family again. Going on a run this early wasn't the best idea, it was just a spur-of-the-moment decision seeing 8 toons in front of the elevator
>Brightney in particular was getting restless, she put down her book for this, and she wasn't even being treated with the respect she thought she deserved. Stealing Goob's twisted train was an accident, there was a machine that needed to be done back there and he just wouldn't move from his spot!
>As such, she was relegated to priming duty, the one place where she couldn't get in the way of the other toons. She had mixed feelings about it
>It was a much more comfy job as opposed to extracting and especially distracting, but it still made her feel a little gloomy. She was a big lamp, she could take care of herself, she just wanted to help the team
>As the rest of the toons scatter out across the floor, Brightney had some issues searching for the machine nearest to the elevator. She really needed to bring her glasses on more runs...
>Someone else's voice called out, the one other toon who stayed behind to make sure Brightney was doing her job
>"Hey, it's over there."
>It was Vee. She didn't sound happy, but Brightney had gotten used to that by now. Just had to remind herself that Vee was a bit different when it came to emotions
>"Aha! Sorry, Vee."
>It was hard keeping her composure around Vee. With most other toons, she was level-headed, even when arguing with them. With Vee however, there was just this aura around her that demanded respect. Brightney walked over to the machine
>"Prime that."
