as a christian, yeah i believe in God, but i don't think you should just go out and suggest the earth is LiTeRaLlY 3000 years old.
that's your prerogative, but what's really interesting is that the substrate of space is actually a shitload of possible energy, but most of it, like trannies, self-annihilates. so i think of it as such: the universe only had to either exist or not; it decided to exist. i don't think there's really that much else to it. otherwise it's turdles all the way down.
