If your supoka have little arrow flames next to them and you step on that option, their stats go up and their flame meter goes up. If their flame meter fills, the next time you step on them you get bonus stats and a hint. Instead of levelling up training by doing the training, you level up training by winning a team-trials style set of races held at regular intervals where your team is made up of supoka and other umas you get in the scenario.
