I'm sorry, but I'm a dumbshit and can't really articulate the issue since it's something you had to play CSGO to know, but sub-tick's just made everything feel less... snappier? CS2's movement feels off because when you press a key, the timing inside the tick actually affects how much acceleration you get. Like, if you press W at 30% into the tick vs 70%, your initial speed impulse is different, sometimes too much, sometimes too little, and it corrects later, which feels inconsistent. On top of that, friction kicks in a tick later than it should, so deceleration is also delayed. All this makes things feel really fucking weird, like I'm walking on vaseline.

And it basically killed surf servers since you literally can't move forward on the ramps anymore LOL, thanks valve
