These were both my experiences. The groups that are bros shooting the shit tossing bants and casual racist jokes are usually invite only and don't publicly advertise. Or they make their own groups from larger linkshells. You just get lucky finding these people, but you'll find them eventually and can play other games lol. IF they're even still playing on H*rizon; my dadgamer buddies quit after getting fucked over by some kind of other endgame linkshell drama and moved to a different server.

The groups that do advertise looking for more endgame mage wage slaves - surprise surprise it's never melee - generally are the ones that are full of ticking timebombs: HNM niggers (who are mentally unstable by default), husband wife couples (who are also officers/leaders of the group and usually suck), dynamis currency farmer zombies with three (3) characters rotating SIX lockouts, /search stalkers that regularly spy on all their new members to make sure they aren't doing content with anyone else other than their core group (yes, real, least on 'rizon). Oh and coincidentally, they've also """rebranded""" their core group/linkshell numerous times after god knows how many fallouts that result in splinter groups after the crazies fuck it up. The alphabet flag on Horiz*n's site and launcher is a big welcome sign for mental illness. Too bad they're doubling down on that 2020 era bullshit instead of catching up on current events and trashing it where it belongs, especially now that XIVers play 11 now, but i guess it's a useful lightning rod
