I just use the little atom amp and dac JDS labs make as i've got all my audio routed through them. My PC, my PSX and my PS2. Cleaner than using inbuilt audio and by the nature of being external lets me volume balance all of the devices. This is important for what I turn on my psx and don't get my ears and windows destroyed by the boot up tune we all know and love.

Fun times. Easily one of the best purchases i've made for my vidya experience and has given em a real love for planar magnetic headphones. Even more fun is i've got my psx and ps2 audio routed to them so that psx bootup is sublime, just as I remember it when back in the day I could hook my console up to my parents home theatre setup on some weekends.
