i only brew fresh ground, light roasted single-origins, preferably ethiopian naturals. ethi is followed in preference by washed peruvians, and then indonesian naturals (both are tied for second, imo)

i think much of bad coffee like starbucks, peets, philz, 89c, and its perceived "goodness" stems from a lack of experience on the consumers part that there is an option that tastes radically better.
