you arent wrong that there are still large scale economic and environmental problems with scaling solar panel and battery production. it doesnt help that china already killed american solar cell production with the help of obama and is trying to do the same with battery tech. which is why maybe it makes sense to to a single home off grid "ish" solution, if that person can afford it
