>He doesn't work 40 hours a week, though. He streamed 300 hours in two years. That's about 6 hours a week.
That's assuming the entirety of his job starts when he presses "play" and starts his live streams and ends when he presses "stop" and ends his live stream.
That's more than obviously not true. That number doesn't even contemplate member streams, live streams not in his channel (like collabs), prep time for the live streams and all the work surrounding being a professional streamer.
>I'd be surprised if he spends more than another 6 hours a week with homework.
I doubt that but that would TRIPLE his work time given that a year has 53 weeks meaning 6 hours a week would mean an additional 600 hours in two years (lowballing it).
Even if you assume he dedicates only three hours A WEEK (!) doing something other than live streaming, that means he would have spent 3 * 53 * 2 = 318 hours, plus the 292 hours during the public live streams = 610 hours of work for 11k USD pay meaning 18 USD / hour, barely the minimum wave in California (for instance) and twice the US min wage
He could make about the same money in HALF THE TIME working 40 hours a week in a McDonalds
