After Space Beth was revealed (season 4) she'd been mostly relegated to brief cameos aside from the infamous Bethcest episode. So pretty much a non-character until Season 8, which was essentially the "Beths" season where they addressed her role in the show beyond her Cousin Roy status.

I don't really care for Space Beth personally, but she at least gives Domestic(?) Beth something to do. If anything, it's Summer who's becoming the weakest link now
